"The streets are just not a life-giving environment. Please keep our neighbors downtown in prayer and keep us in prayer for the Lord to show us exactly how to minister to each person. We are all so unique and so different and God has a different plan for each one of us!"
- Fran Richardson
Our Christmas “Love in Action” outreach downtown on Sunday was awesome! We had about 20 new volunteers. A lot of them were from #Sprouts Grocery Store in south Reno! We receive donated produce and other perishable items from them. Several of them were friends serving with us for the first time! Luckily the weather was awesome and we were blessed with so many donations to pass on to all 150 folks who showed up! Everyone got a pair of socks, a brand new T-shirt and their choice of a coat, gloves, hat or scarf and the children who showed up all got toys that were donated by a very generous little girl! As usual they also got a hot meal, a couple grocery bags and lots of merry Christmas smiles, love and fellowship🎁❤️🎄And even more awesome is that we still have enough warm items and toys to pass on to our food pantry folks on this Sunday morning for Christmas Eve. The message was and is one of Hope and Love from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ no matter what we’ve done and where we’ve been!! Thank God for that otherwise I would not have “qualified”!!! Merry Christmas to all and a very happy and prosperous 2018! 🎉🙌🏼✌🏼
Thanksgiving 2017 “love in action” downtown outreach. Here’s an update of our event on Sunday for our Thanksgiving celebration. All I have to say is that it was “a beautiful day in the neighborhood”! 🎶LOL🎶 The weather was awesome, the people were awesome and the presence of God was awesome!! Grateful to God for His abundant provision, and grateful to all our awesome volunteers! Team Dimensions rocks! 🙌🏼💪🏻❤️✌🏼👣😎
So Thursday’s are food pantry pick up, put away and pre-bag the groceries. Here’s me 2 1/2 hours after the Foodbank pick up getting towed back to the church! St. Vincent’s is 2 1/2 hours late because they are bringing a ton of Thanksgiving stuff also... and the awesome thing is, in it all, every volunteer that helps is staying to finish the job! They are all the best ever! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Y’all rock! 🙌🏼💪🏻🖐🏼👣❤️

Here is our update for last Sunday’s “Love in Action” outreach in downtown Reno. It was a phenomenal day! We served 175 people an awesome hot lunch and gave groceries, clothing, bibles and fellowship to all! The Holy Spirit was very present and ministered powerfully to several people thru Pete and Paul in the prayer tent and Art and Donna in the line!🙌🏼 An amazing day only made possible by all of our faithful volunteers, prayer partners and financial donors ✌🏼 Thank you all again! 😎❤
Here is the update for our downtown "Love in Action" outreach last Sunday, September 17. Say hi to Myron!🖐🏼 The weather was beautiful, we did not run out of food, the prayers, fellowship and encouragement run deep because God shows up! His provision abundant! Please pray with us for Felicia, at six months pregnant, she's used to being on the streets pretty much her whole life and is just not ready to give up some things (or trust probably) to get help! We love her desperately, God loves her desperately! Please pray for her that His Love will break the barriers of bondage. (to see part of Felicia's story go to our website dimensionsreno.org or this Facebook page to see her video with her permission ) 😢🙌🏼 Especially with the coldness and loneliness of winter setting in, we pray an awakening over the body of Christ in Reno, that we would be the change! Thank you to all our faithful volunteers, financial partners and prayer partners, we could not do it without you!
Here is our "Love in Action" update from last Sunday, August 20. Well…it was another amazing time of ministry! We served 250 to 275 people and gave away every little last drop of what we had, literally. At one point we ran out, so we to ran to the 7-11 and bought all their hot food and more water because people were still waiting, and we gave that away as quick as we got it! One woman renewed her faith 🙌🏼 and I believe I saw more people than I ever have, getting clothing. The Lord provided for many needs that day!!
Thank you so much to all the volunteers that made it possible! From the cooks and grocery baggers, to all the new volunteers and the "seasoned veterans" who showed up to serve! It could be that it is time to bump up the provisions again! Thank you again for serving your neighbors and your community with your time, money and prayers! ❤️🖐🏼👣👂🏼😎
Last Sunday, July 16, at our downtown "love in action" outreach, we served about 140 people with groceries, steak and chicken fajitas, watermelon, drinks, clothing, pet food, Bibles and lots of smiles, prayers and kind words from our awesome volunteers! It was pretty hot and we were able to put up tents so they had a little bit of shade. We also serve a food pantry every Sunday of the year from 8 AM to 9 AM at 1805 Geiger Grade Rd., Valley View Christian Fellowship. You are welcome to come down and help serve, but you also are welcome to come down and get a hand up with some groceries and anything else God provides for us to give away. All u need is an ID for yourself and your family to sign up! Come on down and check us out! 😎🙌🏼✌🏼🖐🏼❤️👣👂🏼
Praise God and thank you to the Food Bank of Northern Nevada and the Donald W Reynolds Foundation for the equipment grant that Dimensions received today!! I am so excited because this means we are able to receive in, store and give out more fresh produce and perishables like dairy, eggs and meat! 🖐🏼❤️👣🙌🏼🎉😎 Check them out aren't they beautiful??!!!
The garage sale was a great success! A mega thank you to all who helped make it possible. From donating, setting up, shopping, tearing down and everything in between, thank U, thank U, thank U!! 🙌🏼😎

Here's a few pictures of Father's Day downtown! The first one is a new volunteer, RJ, giving his shoes to a woman who needed them. He even put them on her! Amazing🙌🏼🖐🏼👣❤️. We had massive plates of chili cheese nachos, lots of groceries and awesome volunteers with big hearts serving God by serving His people. There also was some sad news. I found out that a friend of ours, Nestor, passed away directly after we saw him at last months service...😢. The good news is that he was a follower of Christ, and the Bible says absent from the body present with the Lord! So we say RIP Nestor and we will see you on the other side! We celebrate your life🙌🏼😘
Here is the May update for Love in Action downtown last Sunday. It was warm, there were lots of great people serving and being served. It's hard to describe sometimes but every month has its own characteristics. This month was like a springtime community picnic with food, friends, fellowship and all the "hubbub". People hovering around with plates and groceries and stories, just a cool day!! God's message thru me was His great love for them. No matter where you been, or haven't been, no matter what you've done, or haven't done! He's here to meet with you! The morning started with a volunteer accepting Jesus' sacrifice and redemption for them! Nothing more amazing than that! All in all another awesome outreach and a mega thank you to all for all the effort it took to pull it off!!!!!!!!!!!!✌️😎
What a crew! And I remembered to take the picture while everyone was still there!! Awesome day preparing for the outreach tomorrow afternoon and join us if you're interested🙌🏼👣🖐🏼❤️👂🏼
Hi! It is that time of year again for our ANNUAL GARAGE SALE FUNDRAISER! Dimensions ministry has a food pantry every Sunday that serves approximately 80 to 100 families. We also go downtown the third Sunday of every month and serve approximately 150 to 250 folks on the street and in the motels, anyone that shows up. We also give people a hand up with needs as the Lord leads. 🙌🏼😎
The flyer explains our needs, how to donate and how to contact me with any questions. As we get closer I will be posting more information about the set up on Thursday, June 22 if you are interested and the actual sale times. Your prayers, volunteer service, donations and financial gifts are greatly appreciated! We could not do what we do without you! ❤️👂🏼🖐🏼👣😎
Oh.my.gosh! Today was ridiculously phenomenal! We had so much help preparing for our "Love in Action" outreach tomorrow 🖐🏼👣... here's an awesome picture of everybody, and this is minus Katherine, Chad and Donna, they were here earlier! Where God guides God provides, that's for sure!! He proves himself over and over… We are doing a huge brunch, we have Easter baskets for the kids and we made 240 grocery bags. It was very labor-intensive and so many people showed up! 😃 Thank you so much to all you who are praying and giving and volunteering... I could not do it without you. Happy Easter!
Easter!
Here is our Easter Sunday "love in action" downtown update. It was awesome! We served everything we had. Basically we had 43 gallons of hot food!! Picture that, a drum of hot food! LOL along with six cakes 300 fruit cups 500 drinks and 200 appetizer sandwiches, 240 small grocery bags, 200 other grocery bags and 28 Easter baskets! We serve 240 people and it was a phenomenal, blessed day-thank you everyone again. Where God guides, He provides man! 🙌🏼😎✌🏼 and of course we got to tell people that Jesus is here to set the captives free! The theme was just love love love that God loves us🎁
2016… Dare I say that it was another amazing year in the Lord? I know that I sound like a broken record and at the same time, it's beyond my comprehension that ministry gets more amazing every year!
The "numbers" that we served are similar to years past. We served 11,031 people groceries, 2,155 hot meals, 240,683 pounds of food were distributed and literally tons of clothing, Bibles, hygiene items and pet food. Most importantly we engaged in countless prayers, encouragement and conversations with anyone who asked or accepted the offer! The prayer tent, I believe has become a symbol of the place people can go to talk and find some refuge and comfort.
Our name, “Dimensions", represents the 3-D personhood of human beings. We (people) are body, mind and spirit. The name “Dimensions” also represents depth. The Lord has brought depth to the ministry in people's lives. The numbers may seem the same as last year, but not the depth of what we do. As I look at the whole picture, myself included, the Lord has brought His concept of Love, true Love, to a whole new level. I have people asking to remind others that God loves them! Our volunteer base is strong and I see people growing! I see struggle and freedom from bondage happening! I am privileged to see people downtown and at the food pantry accepting the Lord in salvation and re-dedication to Him! Glory to God!
The streets are just not a life-giving force! What I have discovered is that we are all so extremely unique, and individual, that God truly does have an individualized plan and purpose for each of us. So would you join us in prayer, service and giving, that we would be a catalyst in helping people discover God, Who He is, who we are in Him and the life in abundance He promises for those who belong to Him! John 10:10. He truly wants to set the captives free!
Thank you for supporting us, thank you for letting me continue to minister! In his service, Fran Richardson
Here is our update for "Love in Action" downtown last Sunday. It was an amazing time as you can see! We had a lot of people and we had so many awesome volunteers and here's three little ones that just did an amazing job...and I think they had fun too! Two people that I know of for sure re-dedicated their lives to Christ and many came over up to be prayed for without being asked. The prayer tent has been become sort of a sanctuary, so that's awesome.
We served 175 people a huge taco lunch and big grocery bags sprinkled with lots of fun and fellowship! I'm so excited to announce that April's outreach is going to fall on Easter Sunday! I can't wait! Thank you all again for all that you do to make this possible if you give, pray and/or serve!
Here are the photos from last weeks "Love in Action" prep on Saturday and service on Sunday! I remembered to take pictures! The Lord's abundance was amazing. We had big grocery bags, a big, hot meal, a bunch of clothing and pet food, prayer and encouragement, and a very special donation. The employees at a company called Radial (used to be eBay) had a coat drive and donated them to us and here they are pictured below with one of the bosses Greg and his wife! Thank you to all the people who donate, who pray, who give, who volunteer and serve! We certainly couldn't do it without you!
Wow, over a week has gone by since our January outreach! My apologies! It was really cold but no rain or snow! Praise God! Maybe 100 people were there to be ministered to by the Lord and by our awesome team. So they all got to eat to their hearts content and get all the clothes, prayer and encouragement that they wanted!
Since then, Dimensions has been able to minister to two men with shelter, food, gas, hope and other necessities and it's all only possible because of you and your donations, prayers and unconditional love. Thank you for your service, thank you for your faithfulness!!
